Looking back... Engineering... Electrical Vivas...

9.31 pm... Still have not brushed my teeth... Sad it is. But yes. Sitting in front of a computer which was disassembled a few minutes before... as we are about to leave this place. Nothing is in place here. Anand and Sabi have already packed things in and I am in no mood to do it. Hoping that my maid will come tomorrow and will help me.

Things can change so quickly in life. Let it be... the song I am listening to.

And the tempo is all set to write a post.

I don't want to leave this place. Same feelings as I had while leaving hostel.

So going back... Some confessions!

Recalling... what had happened on the day of viva in first year. Electrical labs. Sayli teacher. (correct me if she was not Sayli. Moti thi wo ek.) I was the first guy who had to undergo court marshal every time when there used to be a viva. First roll number in the batch. 25. And more importantly I had got just 7 out of 40 in written tests.

Went in. I didn't know that we were there for viva. When we came to know it, I also got to understand that I didn't even have the journal. I had some other subjects journal with me. I think even (Sukh Dukh ka sathi :) ) Abhinit didn't had it. I called up Shreyash to get it from my flat for me. Cool. Still going cool. He came. Got it. Time to complete it.

I had seen people drawing big complicated graphs and discussing that they couldn't get it correct for a few graphs. Happy people making me feel tensed. How was I going to draw them? I took the ruler and drew lines and then marked points around them. I always felt these journals never get checked. Who has time to look into what is inside the journal. Just needed to make white pages appear blue.

Couldn't complete all of them. (Actually didn't complete all of them thinking of reduced chances of getting caught for drawing wrong graphs. Also, I would tell teacher before hand that I couldn't complete a few of them so that she will think I am sincere to some extent. Cool! Brains!)

So, went inside. Kept the journal aside feeling that teacher won't look at it. To my surprise she picked it up.

I : Umm... Madam, I couldn't complete all of them. I didn't know there is a viva scheduled today.

She: Hmm...

I: (She actually started looking inside it. No! Stop it!) (And now she found that I tried to fool her.)

She: What is this? Are these graphs?

I: (Madam, who told you to look inside?) Yes, yes madam. Umm... No. Confessions...

She: (Cool she was. Kept her temper. Saved me. ) So, tell me what should I ask you about.

I: (Lag gayi! What kind of question this is! I was shocked. I tried to recall. But couldn't think of any!)umm.........

She: Any subject, that you are well prepared for.

I: Umm... (Anything related to electrical. ) And my answer was... Resistors!

She: What!!! Galiya di hogi!!! ;-) Something out of what we studied in labs and not in 10th standard.

I: (yayaya... ) Big confession! Madam, I don't remember anything. I couldn't study. Please pass me.

She: She asked me 10th std questions and left me.

I: Yessssss... I was so happy. But outside, people gathered, specially I remember Poorva asking questions about what happened inside. I threw random answers at them. They asked me about the journal. I don't remember what I replied. Answering them was more difficult than viva.

So this was it. I made it through. In theory, as I had got 7 out of 40 I needed 34 out of 60 in the final exam. Paper was set very tough. After coming out I remember someone among toppers said to me, "Arey mera E (or D) nahi nikalta tu toh bhul hi ja..." But I did make it in that paper.

But that is the most difficult subject I have ever taken.

That black coloured book. Scary! Cannot forget that front page though not the authors name.

Thats it. Didn't write about me being very irregular here! Need to improve.
