Engineering Story 9 (Good) Luck By Chance : Google your name everyday!

After a series of defeats of Kolkata Night Riders I have something to make me feel good.
Right now my status message is: @KKR : I have faith in you, SRK may have lost it! ;)

Anyways, lets get on to our main topic.
I have to call something(PICT concepts 09) as HOPELESS... I generally don't loose my head but today I have!
Yesterday we went to a place called PIRUNGUTE... Minister(Mantri) knows what was there.(Wahan kuch bhi nahi tha... Still I am not able to figure out the reason why it was chosen as a place for night out! Later about it.) I said to Akash, "Yaar, PICT me 2 n half days waste kiye. They didn't even tell us the results."

To give you some background of what is this about... We had participated in a project competition at PICT Concepts 09 which was held on 17th of March. For some reasons we couldn't attend prize distributions ceremony. Those were some of the worse two and half days of my life as we(Shaizeen, Saurabh and me) had to be there for the whole day and tell anyone who was coming there about out project. That was more of a science fair.

Okay... So, we didn't get to know result of this competition for one and half months. We called the organizers so many times, our HOD called PICT principle, we sent our friends there but didn't get to know. They said we will call you and so on... gave reasons that they don't have list of winners and all. They didn't even display results on their website.

Hmm... this is the scenario...
I have a habit of googling my name - "Anuprit"
I made a google search as Anuprit today. Went through some results. Generally I see results on first page only. Today, somehow, I went on THIRD page and was surprised to see our name as 1st prize winners at Concepts 09. Great! That list was published on PICT website and still I am not able to find the reason why it was published there. It should have been on Concepts 09's website. And the most important thing is they didn't even bother to call up winners. Okay not a phone call but they could have sent a mail. If not even that then at least should have replied to our queries.

Thanks to god who took me to the third page of google search as Anuprit... SAVED!! My dear money!!
@Shaizeen and Saurabh you always laugh when I google my name. See, it's important. ;)

I am feeling better now. Will be going to PICT tomorrow... straight to their principle's cabin.
